Xmas 2012 in Marrakech, Morocco
So this year we decided to get some winter sun in Marrakech. The weather in the UK is infamous for being bad and over the winter months, it’s just horrible and depressing! We found a deal to get to Marrakech and took it…
We were there for 4 days.. the temperature was between 20 and 25 degrees Celcius and there was SUN! We arrived in the afternoon and we just relaxed and caught up on sleep (we had to get up 3am to drive to Gatwick for the 7am flight).
The following day we took a daytrip to Ourika Valley along the footfalls of the Atlas Mountains. Our driver, Adnan was very nice and charming.
The following day was a balloon ride with Hamid from MarrakechbyAir.com which was great fun, followed by camel riding. In the evening, we wandered around Marrakech through the streets and souks.
The next day, we did the few hours in a Hammam and spa at Les Bains de Marrakech and more wandering around.
The last day, we went straight to the airport!
Anyway, we captured loads of footage and will be putting them online shortly!
