Journey to Japan – Part 7 – Hakone, Togendai, Pirate Ship on Lake Ashi, Onsen in Ryokan
Our second day in Hakone and we decided to visit the Hakone Ropeway (or Cable car) except that due to volcanic activity, certain parts of it are closed. Anyway, we head via bus to Togendai and go up the first level, have a look around and then come back down!
We had lunch in the restaurant at Togendai station and then took the Pirate Ship across Lake Ashi to Hakone Moto. We had a brief walkaround before making our way back to the ryokan.
