Journey to Japan – Part 6 – Imperial Palace, Hakone, Shinkansen (bullet train), Yamanochaya (ryokan)
Last day in Tokyo. We thought we could visit the Imperial Palace before we left and Metok led the way! So we travelled from Ebisu to Otemachi, stopping at Mos Burger for breakfast along the way and it was delicious.
We didn’t stay too long at the Imperial Palace and soon made our way to the Shinkansen (the bullet train). This took us to Odawara and from here we took the Hakone Tozan train to Hakone Yumoto. We then took a taxi to our ryokan (Japanese inn) which was the Yamanochaya.
Here we got to wear our provide yukata and experienced our first ryokan dining experience! What an amazing day!
